Sure, why not? There was also another clip where there's a Rushia-looking poster on the wall in a stage. She didn't have to acknowledge that one, but she did. Every time she acknowledged a Rushia reference, she sounded happy too and would play along and pretend she's facing her. If she doesn't care then she wouldn't have said more than a sentence about any of the references.

Rushia is the embodiment of a VTuber whose hard work and success transcended corpos. There is nothing to let go. The world finally got a VTuber that could break the IP and corpo barrier with her persona and there's nothing anybody can do about it.
