You all look at the numbers, but you've failed to realize why a vtuber gets those numbers in the first place. It's not about talent, dedication, charisma, or even design. It's only about the memes.

When HoloEN1 debuted, Ame and Ina where neck and neck for 3rd. Then suddenly Walfie drew small Ame and BAM! Ame exploded over night leaving Ina in the weeds. Now any time Ame brings back small Ame, such as in her VR streams, the views skyrocket.

Memes are what drive numbers. Memes are the bait and the hook that real people in to come back to the next stream. Without memes, a vtuber is nothing.
