For me I sometimes use 2 monitors with my girls on the smaller monitor, or use picture-in-picture on my TV with the movie behind my chuuba.

Which one I pick usually depends if I think my chuuba is going to get into discussion about the movie or just be reacting to it without activating any neurons.
If I think they're gonna actually discuss it then I'll use 2 monitors because being able to see JP stream chat helps me a lot if I lose track of what my holos are saying or they use words I don't know. Chat will usually fill up with relevant stuff so I can roughly figure out what she said.
