People have posited before that part of the reason the devs are so adamant about the filter is due to investors. If that's the case, why not just say so? I mean Musk is on twitter every day interacting with users of one of the most populated platforms on the internet, admitting mistakes and speaking in plain, human language about it.

What is it with californian's and speaking in corpospeech for everything? If it is an investor issue why not just say "NSFW means we'll get funding pulled out." Who's going to say "well that's not fair! why are you like this?"
