11 Hours Edition

She actually did it. When starting her charity stream last night the mad lass made the same initial mistake pink cat did during her birthday stream. Anyone could tell you that Mouse would have utterly demolished a 10k goal but that was what she set and it was cleared shortly after the stream started. New stretch goals were concocted mid-stream up to a staggering $100,000. For a long time it seemed like things would cap at around 70k as it grew later and later into the night and people naturally began to go to bed. And then she started singing. I can't explain it. I don't think anyone can. But shortly afterwards the donations picked up again and one goal after another was smashed until finally, 11 long hours into the night, she hit her final, ultimate goal. A little over a cool 100k to be donated to the Immuno Deficiency Foundation, a charity that helped Mouse herself in her own life. She talked about how hopeless she felt after her initial diagnosis, how she felt like less of a human, and just viewed herself as a burden on the world. When she first started streaming she was so weak she couldn't even lift her head from a pillow. And now here she is. Knocking out 11 full hours of streaming, and being capable of doing more had she not started so late.

Other than that, the BBC Interview Vei and Froot participated in finally aired! As expected by most people it was little more than a puff piece about this strange new form of content creation on the internet called vtubing. And then a truncated version of the segment popped up with Froot's segment cut entirely, and Gunrun mislabeled as her. Something that Melody found very, very funny.

It was a great night but time moves on and so must we. DND is canceled for this week as Haruka's off visiting family for the first time in well over a year which means we'll be in for a comfier Friday than normal. So make sure that comfiness is brought to the rest of the thread by ignoring bait, and being excellent to each other.
