it's not ai because here's an earlier piece of the guy's with Gura.
has a bunch of similar things since the guy seems to be learning how to properly render and get some proportions correct.
Also the hands are perfectly fine, the closer one to the "camera" hadn't been completely rendered and the one far away is a standard mistake for a lot of artists.
