I do not know why you are assuming I want a nation to be able to have tech above 1750. Not only was I not here for the nasfaqq conversation, I even outright stated, multiple times, that I think both tech and magic should advance at the same rate. I am extremely confused where you're getting the impression I've ever argued for magic to be shittier. In the first place, while the nation I've talked about most often is my cyborg one because it's the one I'm currently working on most actively, I also have two nations that are going all-in on magic. We're talking lighting, heating, cooking -- everything done with magic. I have mermaids living off my northeastern coast. I am extremely confused where I've ever given you the impression I want magic to be worse than tech.
