Hearing them say out loud that they're not gonna be spending christmas with their families this year and Mama Puppy brought in christmas themed stuff to make it so they can still get some of that feeling made me feel so sad, so guilty. But I'm also so so happy to get to spend christmas with them, I'm really looking forward to this, and hearing them say they have a lot of things prepared and are really looking forward to it warms my heart. I'm so conflicted.
Guess the only thing I can do about it is make sure to enjoy every second, make time for them no matter what, and treasure those memories.
