I kinda wish Hololive wasn't top dog so people would stop pretending the peculiarities of Hololive were all of vtubing. Thread is moderately slow and civilized. Here are the charts already posted so far with the median of peak CCV for the first half of May (1 to 15)

Pic related has the ranking per branch. Five things

1) An additional "Nijisanji JP (Top 34)" was included to make it possible to compare them with the rest of the branches because with 101 active channels this month (not even including ID and KR that got merged) it would not be an apples to apples comparison
2) HoloJP *still* lives in a completely different universe with an absurd 10k+ median for the period across all 345 streams
3) HoloEN likewise, more than doubles the median of their direct competition
4) Even considering the full roster of NijiJP they're still absolutely positively stronger than the rest of the industry sans Hololive.
In an Universe where Hololive didn't exist Riku would be lauded by his "Nijisanjification" strategy with numbers this strong for this huge number of streamers and streams
>but Hololive exists and dwarfs everything around them

and the punchline
5) VSPO more than cemented themselves not only as the third strongest company (behind only Holos and NIjis, ahead of 774 Inc.) but also as the third strongest branch (behind only HoloJP and HoloEN)
>or fourth if one would cut off NijiJP long tail
