It less the tag more about the character. If she was still using Minta, I don't think people would have as much of a problem with it. But she got rid of the entire charater, not just the tag; it's someone neither Pippa or the thread came up with, and even though chubbas like Juwun or Nyana have changed the design they've kept the charater. I think this is due difference in approach that has formed over the time vtubing has evolved,tbut that's a deeper conversion that I'm not sure is relevant to this.

I'd personally suggest making a 2D2U thread to discuss imo.

If the identities were kept and only the models changed, I'd be down to clown; not the first time nor the first chubba to swap models but keeping the name, it's happened a lot. But a total trashing of everything feels weird. Like, I'm not angry or anything, but I guess it's just the clothes theory, except with character's? Which I just can't wrap my head around as a good idea since it would cause people to detache in my view. Then again I can't say I've figured out the mindset behind it beyond the OC RP theory of mine, which if so I'm not against, but it's not my jam so to speak. Or maybe I'm being too autistic and reading too much into this, who knows.
