Let's try something positive. Which JP or EN senpai do you think would be best suited to give Kronii a buff talk and pull her out of whatever the fuck is going on right now? Too bad Coco isn't still around. My bet would be on Mori. Kronii is facing a lot of the same criticism Mori did in the beginning, she is overpromising and under delivering. I also think talking to Ame or Gura would be helpful as they were also accused of being complacent and lazy at times.

If people can't tell discordniggers and Antis apart from actual posters, that's on them. I've said it before in many essayposts, the reason Mori was so frustrating was because people wanted her to be good so badly and they could see occasional flashes of the streamer she could be. If she was just shit all the time, people wouldn't still be holding out for her after 8 months. Streams like this just make it all the more dispiriting when she goes and does a stream like the SV collab with Kiara or LL with Ina. Going from maximum effort to zero effort. She doesn't have to be maximum effort all the time. But she should never EVER be zero effort, this is her job and there are fans and other Holos relying on her.

The reason I like Hololive, the hope I hold out for it, is the bonds between the girls and how they genuinely seem to uplift and help each other. Yes Mori's been at this 8 months. But on the other hand it's been "only" 8 months. I watched Kizuna Ai's debut, and I can say that no agency has ever shown the interconnectedness that Hololive did.

Watame before Coco talked to her.
Kiara before Marine talked to her.
Aqua and Coco after the Smash spergs.
Nene supported by everyone after the delay of her 3D.
Gen 5 as a whole after Aloe.
Fubuki helping Coco during China.
Haachama being welcomed back.
Fubuki drawing heat after Towa's YAB
Miko being welcomed back after months away.
Noel becoming a happier person after Flare.
Every small story of Anemachi and Suisei checking in on Coco.
Kanata comforting Coco live on stream.
Suisei and AZKi's first duet after their turbulent history

And so many more. I know Mori can get through this and improve. The onus is on her. She has to stop being so hard on herself in ways that don't matter and be harder on herself in ways that do matter. She has to get a talking to from Marine or Coco and then actually listen and apply their advice. She needs to lean on her Genmates but also be there for them by preparing for collabs. But she has so many resources, and some of the best resources that Vtubing has to offer. It's right there. That's what makes it so frustrating.

>Anon believed in the perfect Mori, the orgastic future that week by week recedes before us. It eluded us then, but that’s no matter—tomorrow she will stream more, collab with her senpai more. . . And one fine morning-
>So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past
