Asymptomatic carriers are a thing. Cons always spread diseases, always will. It's generally not very sick people intentionally going although that sometimes does occur since they've invested money and time and don't want to lose it, it's mostly just the passive disease spreading you always get with a bunch of people from different locations with different immunity sets meeting together.

I think even without the Selen yab Niji bit off more than they could chew with that concert. Most of their fans aren't in the US and while some can fly out to attend, realistically most can't. Luxiem never had lots of intermediate spenders, they had a handful of really big Chinese sugar mamas, most of whom left well over a year and a half ago. Their filler audience is poor Chinese and SEA who can't do stuff like splash out $100 plus travel to Singapore or the US. Researching your market demographics is important, it's something Cover does well, even if they're maybe too conservative.
