CLIP skip - "at what layer of the CLIP encoder's output do we stop?" CLIP = takes your input prompt, turns it into tokens that the model can actually use. CLIP skip 1 = stops at the last layer. CLIP skip 2 = stops one layer before that. Beyond that, I don't understand how it works, other than that NAI and some other models were trained with CLIP skip 2, which is why you should prompt with CLIP skip 2.
