Shiori has been the main thing I have used to motivate myself to do anything these last few weeks because I don't really care about much in life anymore and want to just LDAR. I really don't see any way that using a vtuber for motivation doesn't just end in me being back where I started as a perpetually bored and disinterested fuckup with nothing to live for though unless I luck out and find some other reasons for existence, but if my alternative is just being a lazy fuckup is it really a bad thing?

I'm approaching my late 20's and have never dated and every girl I've asked has shot me down or ghosted me. I've accepted simping for a girl who doesn't and will never love me is the best I'll ever get until AI gfs become real (if they ever do). I use mine as motivation to do things. Thinking about her cheering me on and wanting to be a person she'd be interested in dating has encouraged me to improve myself in my time off of work & to push myself harder when I am lifting or doing whatever other task.
The only reason I never killed myself when I was in high school, bothered trying in high school to bring up my shitty GPA, went to a good college and got a well paying job was because I did this for a real life girl I had a crush on in high school. It's not healthy but it works to some degree, especially if you're fundamentally broken like I am.
