First of all, the three sisters (corn, bean, squads) are the common staple food. A basic meal in /meat/ would comprise of bread made from maize flour, beans cooked in spices, and steamed squashes or pumpkins.
As for the 'meat', non-human sources are commonplace. From poultry like chicken and turkey, to fishes, to the rodents like the capybara and guinea pigs. More exotic options are the non-standard fantastic chimeras like the multi-legged chicken, the fish with legs, and the cow-boar hybrid.
Some of our best, non-human, dishes together would be a serving of corn flour bread, spiced beans and squash, a side of kokeko chicken chimera, ant egg caviar, bread made with cattle blood, and fish pie.
