Competition is the wrong word. "Competition" in the sense that Toto was the only one really interested in Valo. Mimi was still new and undecided.
The fact that Beni enjoys Valo is a godsend because if you check older VSPO Valo games

Toto was the only one Nazuna can count on to be focused during their games but Toto can't calm Nazuna if she gets frustrated which is why Beni is great for her since her personality lets her diffuse situations.

Everyone was hard grinding APEX and Valo streams didn't catch on.
Nazuna is easy to provoke + her favorite game has almost 0 chance to be a thing for JP = very frustrated.
