I'd have a lot to say on this but it's a can of worms that would delve into armchair psychology that you might not want to hear or wouldn't bother taking seriously luv me predictable contrarian wife!
But to make it super short and without the most abrasive claims, I think you're at that combination of inexperience and perfectionism where you have inhibitions on "just doing it". You're trying to oneshot something you're absolutely satisfied with without the painful sketch reps first because doing bad art is humiliating and hurts your ego because you feel and know you could do better. In general social terms, you had a lot more of these inhibitions in the past about putting on a livestream but you've improved on that front terribly and can be pretty casual with us now. It could be the same with drawing, find that comfort.
Watching tutorials and doing from references and going through the same motions might get to some results but it might not be the most fruitful as a learning experience.
