IMO, even Konami's mahjong clients have dim tsumogiri.
It's just plain retarded to call it cheating in clients where it is a standard feature available to everyone and provides the information for everyone to see.
However, it is definitely cheating if you use a script or something to hack it into a client that doesn't have it as an option.
