I know he said he just excited for his BD, but the way he keeps insisting on it just makes it feels like he's trying to force himself to feel that way, if I may say.
And the way Fulgur words it seems more like he just noticed Alban acting rather different than usual instead of Alban being forward with them all. He's very dishonest with his feelings afterall and don't like people worrying over him.
