I have a webcam but it runs at 30fps so the tracking is pretty jank, it's better than nothing I guess but the mouth has like a 30% error rate and it doesn't have a great list of parameters .Like there's no tongue control.

Fictional creatures are cooler. Dinosaurs are good reference material but cryptids are more interesting imo. I highly recommend Animals Real and Imagined and Creating Imaginary Animals by Terryl Whitlatch, great books although they focus a bit too heavily on stylization in some parts.
