You are failing that principle
You are not becoming happy at all
You always have the thought gnawing at the back of your mind:

'Is this real?'
'Is she just pretending?'
'Is she just using me?'
'Is she not showing us something?'

Every day you suffer while trying to push those thoughts down, turning your oshi into a caricature of human being meant to only fulfil your needs and then you cry again and again when reality clashes with your expectations, confirms your doubts and makes you more and more jaded and doubtful for the next time

I choose to cast away the doubt and lies, I choose to immerse myself in both the struggle and the victories, the pain and the pleasure of supporting a dream greater than just myself and even in loss I celebrate being able to be a part of it

I don't need any certainty at the end of the day
I see them smile after the effort they've put and I share their happiness
I don't need a place in history, just in that moment
