Hololive numbers are purely from outside sources. Hololive is not popular because of Cover's management. They are popular because of pure meme power and and legion of Chink and Seanigger clipper. And the only Japanese Vtuber company that have En branch. Even with all those, Cover show the blatant incompetency as we can see in rigger incidents. Ichikara has better management compared to Cover in regard of number original music, merchandise, cover, liveshow, 3D rigging and model, tv show, collaboration, tournament, etc. They are far more important than number in youtube page. Hololive/Cover is an idol company and I have yet to see Cover did anything Idol like. Funny Nijisanji is better "Idol" company than Hololive.
