It really is. You want to know what I do with any social media related stuff? I disable all notifications, I pin the tabs, I throw them on their own window. No distractions. No apps either. Fuck apps. Mobile sites any day of the week. No spyware thank you.
I check this shit 5 times a day, no more, no less and read through things quickly, ignoring most garbage. If I miss you by 1 second, too bad.
I could go a step further and install extension to force them to use the same favicon so they can't notify visually by changing the icon, but i ignore the window so it doesn't matter.
