One time I was playing League of Legends and I saw a guy on my team named Gogo Zeppeli or something like that. Now I haven't read Steel Ball Run but I do know two things. "Nyo ho" and "pizza mozzarella". So the whole match I just kept spamming those two things in chat whenever we got a kill, or sometimes just at random times, and he seemed to enjoy it because he did the same thing back. We did not exchange any further words but he added me to friends after the game and we never talked or played with each other again. I haven't played League of Legends in years but I was thinking about this because I was eating some mozzarella. I guess my point is that Jojo fans have an unspoken kinship with each other, even if one of them hasn't actually read the Jojo part in question.
