Gotta look for the root of why makes you unhappy, and work on fixing it, changing it, or if you can't change it, putting your energy into a hobby, project, volunteer work, exercise and or career that makes you feel fulfilment. Saw your other post, do it without aims of comparisons to others, it doesn't matter as long as it's something that can make you feel fulfilled External happiness is a distraction temporarily from your own circumstances. Being happy with yourself is hard.
