It's just slow development from a studio that prefers to keep it comfy and slow. It's base game is probably one of the best survivalcraft RPGs out there, and modded it's amazing. Nothing like building a floating cityship or flying as an Odinform Raven. Bosses are fun mechanically and require preparation. Exploration is good, combat is great and varied with the different weapon movesets and damage types, mining crafting loop is good in the base game, and there's a lot to do and see, the building and terrain deformation is REALLY good. Mods can make it more challenging and more fun at the same time, like RPG classes, loot enchanting and gambling. It'll probably resurge with the next biome patch.

Hey I'm new to phase connect, why does Lumi stream almost exclusively on twitch? Either way she's cute and I like her a lot!!! Her voice is soothing if that makes sense.

Is there anyone in phase connect that streams JRPGs? Probably not since they aren't exactly good viewership games but I love a good JRPG endurance stream.

The Hina and Pippa collab was really fun, I'll admit I haven't watched a lot of Pippa and only catch clips but she's a lot different from what the clips make her out to be - what are the best kinds of Pippa streams? I want to check out more.
Also I really enjoyed what I got to see from Eimis stream, she really can't handle jump scares very well. She was making so many baby noises. Runie was fun too she really is able to just keep rambling and rambling. She said she drives with her knees so she can eat sushi... that sounds really dangerous to me. I don't think I'd get in a car with her.

I've read all of them and they could have just done the first book in its entirety, and not adapted shittily for season 1 and made things awesome for years to come but that wasn't going to happen. From the first episode I knew it would fail to capture the nuance and magic of that first book, which helped really introducing a lot of the cast and building up Geralt and Yen's relationship.

I missed the MMO discussion last thread but I can see it both ways. The different specs and player freedom in WoW adds a lot of variance and let's a player stylize some player individuality. But because of that encounters need to be more broadly accessable because of the high amount of variance which is why half the game is designed under the idea of players having plugins that do half the hard work for them. FF14 being streamlined in the jobs adds for less variance and keeps the jobs mostly balanced (sure there is gonna be a top DPS but the difference is almost always negligible and content is clearable with everything) which allows for tighter combat - i.e. every DRG has the same optimal rotation so at the end of the day it rewards mastery of the job.

Idk I like perfecting a play style more that customization in an MMO these days.
