I'd go so far as to say that the person Kronii looked up to that told her she was shit told her that to keep her out of the industry so she wouldn't threaten the jobs of his friends. VAs are part of the SAG which is a huge racket. Newer voice actors can be hired cheaper which makes veteran SAG actors who demand increasingly larger payments for work less attractive. Gatekeeping good new SAGless talents is key to keeping their racket going.
