One time my Rookie turned around a mission by accident, there were chryssalids which poison and kill your men in melee, turning them into zombies and after a few turns a new chrysalid bursts out of the zombie. So they were causing a chain reaction of killing all my rookies who missed their shots, my more experienced men were getting overwhelmed but one rookie’s strayed shot from outside going in hit an explosive and collapsed the whole building everyone was in. Sure I lost all my men but there were no more Chryssalids or zombies either. The point is rhe odds are incredibly against you saving Earth but you have to try anyway.

well the good news is she's been pretty distant so far. You'd be lying to yourself if you think that will last forever, management will force a 1 on 1 collab at some point. but I'll take what I can get.
