You know what's scary about marriage? If you really liked how things were before you got married, it's scary to think about how the act of getting married might change the way things are. This is kind of scary to me, makes me think like, maybe it's better if things just stay the way they are. Getting married isn't really an aspiration of mine, I probably won't get married. When I was a kid I thought become a bride and wearing a wedding dress would be nice one day, but when I think about the topic of marriage, there's a lot of things you'd need to think about and I would rather stop thinking about it entirely. "Eventually, Shirakami stopped thinking." I do think I would like to wear a wedding dress just for the experience once, though. "Shouldn't one get married out of filial piety?" Well, getting married just because of your parents is kind of, you know.. From their perspective, their child getting married is a great thing, but it's something the child has to do out of their own volition. Filial piety is just incidental here, your own happiness needs to come first. Marriage is difficult, huh. I don't really know. You know, what I have right now, being able to talk to everyone, play games and just have fun like this, I would probably have to give all of this up, and just thinking about that feels bad. I'd hate that, I couldn't handle that. I think rather than happiness derived from marriage, the happiness I derive from being able to hang out and play together with everyone like this is more important to me personally. That's just how my priorities are.
