Clonality seems to be a pretty common thing regardless of climate but I can’t find much info on how it’s evolved in the first place. I basically just make stuff up as I go for /vnug/’s plants
Plants already communicate with each other and clonal plants share much more between individuals so I won’t be surprised if many have came up with that idea independently. In this case I try to leave it more ambiguous since no one in V&U has anything to do with plants just yet. For all the people know it might just be an illusion caused by chuubanite/swamp gas emission and/or native magic shenanigans
