Here's an example of that, but not to get to 16:10 16:9 should've never been a desktop resolution. I will die on this hill, while I slit ultrawide retards' throats. but to 4:3. This is the "before hi-res fix" image with an added frame and padding on my part to kinda show you what it was doing.
>Size: 1280x960, Seed resize from: 512x512, Denoising strength: 0.6, ENSD: 31337, First pass size: 640x480
1280x960 / 640x480 are 4:3 resolutions. I had the resolution set to 640x480, with "Seed resize" set to 512x512, and then it did a 2x Hi-Res Fix upscale.

What it "originally generated" is what would've been within the red square - so it did technically throw some image away that I won't be able to see without going back and doing it at 512x512 without anything else enabled. Generating directly at 640x480 would've given me a different image too, because base resolution affects the composition of your output about as much as the seed itself does. I know I tested it for an afternoon, but I can't find the right pairs of images at the moment. I do remember that trying to do 768x512 was giving me eldritch Zach Braffseses in the corner, and doing this instantly fixed them.
