Here's something I do when I save an image too big. Upload it to https://imagecompressor.com/ or a similar website and download the result. It will keep the same image quality, but reduce a lot of bloat. Nobody will ever notice it's compressed compared to saving a scuffed version.

For example, look at pic related. It looks great. It WAS 7.7MB when I saved it, but when I did the conversion, it looks the same and is less than 1MB
