It might have to do with confidence, but you also have to remember that times were just very different back then. Even though she was at the height of her popularity, I don't think she had remotely as much recordings and miscellaneous work to do back then as she does now. For example, just yesterday she opted not to stream even though she wanted to because she had to save her throat for two recordings she had left this week and it even made her miss out on the ARK event she wanted to join today.

I guess doing a lot of singing streams in addition to all these recordings and all her regular streaming would be taxing to her voice and is sadly not as feasible as it used to be. She probably also doesn't have as much time to practice new songs either and she isn't the type to bring out the same repertoire of like ten different songs in every single song frame. I was pretty happy she did that spontaneous one when her PS2 died the other day, that was a lot of fun. I think that was only the second or third one we got this year, it would be neat if we could get one every months or every other month or something.
