Maybe they're not filming 3D. Every other time they've been over there in large groups nothing has come from it. Rosemi herself was in Japan a short while ago. I doubt iLuna will be anywhere close to 3d, they don't all even have alternate outfits yet. If anyone gets 3D it will be the remnants of the "golden 20".

Depends on the type of material they go for, how picky they are about stuff like mixing, how much cash they're willing to spend, how many people they already have personal contacts with and if those people are free, and how diligent their manager is.

Someone with serious mental or self-esteem issues like Pippa. Someone that doesn't want anything to do with singing or dancing, or is physically disabled and can't dance or travel to japan (think Fatgur). Someone who doesn't want the pressure of such a high profile gig or who can't agree to streaming regularly because of another job or family. Someone who knows their content just won't translate or be possible to do in a corporate environment.

How many people would this apply to? Maybe only a handful out of all the small corpo girls. Most of those circumstances are likely more applicable to indies. If you've already taken the step to join a small corpo I doubt it's an issue for many to make the next step, and indeed that's probably the goal for most of them.
