The Creation of the Splits
-Phase Creation Myth

Many moons ago, the people of /pcg/ settled in the great Phase River Valley next to the Pippa River. The river that fed the land would occasionally flood, bringing both fertility to the valley which attracted new settlers but also destruction, for it was not a routinely flooding river like the Nile, but a violent, turbulent, unpredictable flood like the Yellow River. Over time the River grew stronger, many of the old sellers plots were washed away by the growing flood waters and new settlers arrived, worshippers of the Pippa River stayed close to the banks but other communities spread out in further settlements for safety. However, there were 7 Great Floods in Era of Male Collabs that caused great destruction for all communities, both from the River itself and the worshipers of the River wreaking havoc seeking to tame it. There were calls to evacuate or to push out the destructive River from the valley to redirect it. However the task to move the river had become too great and the apostles rioted. So others left, to settle new lands. First the Likers, finding land in the Yippee Plains to raise their herds and indulge in autism in solitude. Then the PCGIA Confederacy, banded together in their mountain villages, a haven for the patronage of arts. And last the GEN3K swamplands, first created by mask wearing bandits, created to pass blame for the crimes onto the Runatics, later abandoned and resettled by small peaceful wanderers. Though the River has calmed for now, the divisions by the last great floods remain to this day.
