It's always the same thing, as someone playing piano in train stations often, I get many people stopping by and being so impressed and asking "wow, when did you start? I'll never be able to do that" when I don't feel very good myself and think the same about pro pianists, but pro pianists themselves probably have that same feeling seeing their own shortcomings.
I'm pretty sure most creatives feel that way since they know the "tricks" and how they got there, they're never impressed at their own creation.
Also why while getting compliments is nice, it often feels weird unless it's from someone in the same field, because you feel like they're just "generally" liking it without other thoughts, tho I can't blame them of course
