It's set during the historical Japanese invasions of Korea (1592–1598) where "unknown" numbers of Japanese soldiers were captured. Essentially they over-stretched supply lines and their navy got fucked by Korea's, meaning although they'd won most of the land battles they had to surrender. Also, Ming China began to intervene too. It isn't a period I know much about but someone else suggested Korean themes and I thought it would be perfect for a dominant Kronii story since it fits her personality to take a sex slave, imo
