Hating fast food uniforms due to overexposure is probably a cultural thing neither ESL chicken nor the JAP staff around her were aware of.
Afaik obnoxiously colored fast food uniforms used in order to stand out were a thing in the US (and maybe still are) but in many areas outside the US fast food uniforms were a lot more mellow, sometimes even looking kinda decent.
In Europe McD for example uses dark to very dark shirts with a simple M emblem on the left side of the chest. It also helps that other than McDonalds and Burger King fast food places aren't that widespread.

So that kind of uniform is not something people from the EU or even Japan would run into that often and if they do it's not as brightly colored.
Thus Kiara's uniform is a cute juxtaposition to something not all that common.
Similar to Kiara's love for corn - people in US are surrounded by it, people in the EU and JP have to search for it.

Still can't help with the color or the silly hats, though.
