Bros I ask only a moment of your time to read what I'm saying. It is the most obvious things we all know and are aware of yet we ignore for the sake of our amusement.
I have finally made it out of my pit and pulled back the curtain, I've always known vtubers put on an act, that they play along with the public and provoke our emotions as it is their job to do so at the end of the day.
And I was always ok with this, I acknowledged it and I accepted it but today it finally caught up with me and it reminded me why I made fun of vtuber fans and why I avoided them for so long.
I feel that I can only watch vtubers and have fun with them if I'm drunk out of my ass.

I personally value authenticity and a person's real demeanor more than a cute anime girl pretending to put up with hundreds of people at a time and even putting up a different personality than their real selves; like if it was a cartoon character for children.

Still these past 2 months have been a lot of fun because I refused to look at the truth I already knew now that I was part of the vtubing crowd.
Guess I'm doing TOO good mentally and emotionally lately that the whole act puts me off now, it's strange.

Still, I love you all for keeping me company and for sharing your love for your oshis, your enthusiam, your personal troubles with me, for being so welcoming despite me(and I guess others too) being new to this world.

The thing is, I can imagine myself pretending to get along with horny idiots just because they give me hundreds of dollars and they have to play nice no matter what kind of creepy comments they send her and it just doesn't click with me anymore; and to accept that these people fund my living and pay for my expenses makes me feel like a dishonest person unless I enjoyed those creepy SCs.

I don't know what else to say, think I'm gonna get drunk now and watch Petra.
Now is a better time than ever who is the "realest" vtuber you know of? if I want to stay in this medium I want to watch the realest person there is or I may as well drop it and watch real people at this point.
