Following the meta is pointless unless you're a large streamer.

Any streamers playing FOTM games rarely see any boost from it because all the big streamers are playing FOTM and sucking up all the viewers. It's better to play what you like So long as what you like isn't Apex, picrel

Selkie's natural voice is better. There were times when it was very obvious she was struggling to hitch her voice and it sounded bad. But most of the time she was good at keeping it up. I definitely saw the appeal of it because the first thing I ever said in her chat was "I really like your voice." Although now she uses UwU speak less and I miss it. It was cute

If you like comfy streams then yes. Also if you like streams where the streamer interacts with their chat a lot. Selkie is always on point about keeping up with chat discussions and playing off of their chatter's energy. Unless she's playing a multiplayer game like Apex, which I guess is reasonable. She's definitely a variety streamer but Red Dead 2, Minecraft, and Apex are recuring on her channel.

I like her streams but with games like Apex she tends to talk less. Which is boring. Also, almost no conversation happens in her discord. If you checked general right now I'm willing to bet you would just see emote spam. So there's not much of a community around her.
