You're completely right. She was the one who wanted to do it unarchived in the first place. Her excuse is that she wouldn't talk much and it would be boring so you wouldn't miss on anything important.
If everyone who is archiving right now decides that they don't want to share anymore there's nothing she can do and it'll be officially a sekrit club.
