It's both hilarious and terrifying how shady corporate vtubing/contracts are. I don't think there's anything comparable in any field of work. Maybe music rights and labels.
Anyway, vtubers are manchildren and deserve to be taken advantage of shady coprorations just like they take advantage of the people watching them in the first place. It's a dog eat dog world for vtubers.
