Not really. Whether every Nijimale is wildly successful is irrelevant when they still have the highest amount of successful males in any vtuber agency. All of the Eden gumi males are doing very well for themselves. At this point Nijisanji is synonymous with male vtubers.
I don't think they'll all be Kuzuha tier (remember he took years to get where he is as well) right away but it's fucking obvious that they'll be popular on some level. You also have to keep in mind some factors like Anykara specifically searching for multilinguals as we'll seen with other nijiENs. If an EN Nijimale speaks English there's no reason he can't cultivate a Japanese audience as well.
Whether they'll be successful compared to the girls isn't as important as the fact that they will be successful, and they'll bring in a new audience specifically interested in corporate male EN vtubers. I don't agree with OP on why, but they most definitely will change the western market, even if only for western male indies to have an ideal to strive after like how HoloEN gave female western indies an ideal to strive after.
