In all fairness, OP has a point. Why sympathize with someone who was born a woman in the west, who got a free ticket to live in Japan, and who looks good enough to make a career out of being an ethot? These are advantages the average neckbeard like myself will never have.

As a point of fact, a man man needs no reason to not sympathize with someone more well off simply due to the circumstances of their birth.
