Vtubing is one of the only inclusive hobbies out there. You have people on the far left and people on the far right who watch Gawr Gura. And the only reason these people coexist is because they shut the fuck up about their differences. They literally do not bring them up. They do not bring politics into that space, they do not talk about anything else besides Gawr Gura.

However, with the recent drama around Pikamee, Silvervale, and plenty of others, it's starting to look like this could come to an end soon. It is now up to vtubers to show these concern trolls the door, to invite them to fuck off. You are the gatekeepers.

Or, vtubers can bend to the mob, who will demand more and more changes in the usual moralist purity spiral fashion. Because it's not about your model. It's not about your content. It's about domination. When you look at Twitter, they are trying every single possible vector of attack. Because Pipkin Pippa told them to fuck off with the Hogwarts Legacy bullshit, they decided to try other avenues by digging years into the past to find something to cancel her over.

The thing that the mob hates the most is when you show that they have no power over you. They want you to disavow this and that. You shouldn't disavow shit, because these people are not real vtuber fans. They're concern trolls. Ignore them or tell them to go fuck themselves. That is the only thing that will stop this.

I feel like I have a partial understanding of all the chuubas I've watched, whether I like them or not--that is, at least a superficial understanding of their persona, motivations, characteristics, etc. But I don't understand Bat at all.
"she's autistic" doesn't seem like a satisfying explanation.
Zum and Tob and Haruka are all autistic but I feel like I can mostly understand why they do the things they do.
I can never tell if Bat is serious or not. I don't understand her sense of humor (haha, now you can call ME autistic, but I only have this problem around Bat, not around other people). I don't understand how a pick-me, edgelord girl who's not completely unattractive could have a 95 on the Rice Purity Index (unless that's yet another meme).
For example, I don't understand why she felt the need to belittle Coqui while she was a guest on Coqui's stream for not knowing some bit of grade-school level scientific knowledge. It didn't seem like a friendly jest, but it didn't seem intended as a mean insult either. It just seemed random and unnecessary. What is up with her? I can't see any of the other autistic chuubas doing stuff like that.
