I love my oshi because she makes me laugh. That's really the gist of it.
There's a lot of other things I like about her. Her design fits my aesthetic and her gap moe makes my heart swell. A lot of the niche internet things she brings up in zatsudan, like Neopets autism and wild fandom drama, are things I find interesting too. I've always enjoyed watching sweaty gameplay, and I really respect how she puts together big projects that everyone can enjoy. But fundamentally, she's my oshi because she makes me laugh. I'm too much of a disillusioned old hag to expect anything more than entertainment.

I've been watching Aster because I am unironically addicted to Apex and League of Legends and he's skilled enough that his gameplay doesn't bother me. His content outside of sweaty games doesn't appeal to me at all, though.
I watch the other boys too, but my interest in them ebbs and flows while I always want to watch Selen. My actual male oshi is on break, anyways.
