Actually, I wanted to go with a nice mix of influenced by our chuubanite monsters and just normal, dangerous animals. And yea, totally agree on the smaller monster idea, actually wanted the various schizos that were influenced by our chuubanite to take on the roles of more humanoid monsters (trolls, goblins etc.)
And as for the moriji-jang, as I said above, it's a rajang species, fuck our common sense :^)
