Personally I'm seeing a lot of the signs of a repeat of the pedo issue in the early days of the gay rights movement.
For those too young to know what happened.
Basically pedos got in with the gay rights crowd in their early days when the movement first started gaining traction.
Problem is people are generally prepared to tolerate adult gays fucking each other and will even overlook gays being slightly predatory towards children. They won't overlook outright child predators.
So after their initial success it looked like the pedos were gonna drag the gays down with them.
So the gays stabbed the pedos in the back. Quite literally. The most infamous example was the UKs Stonewall group who not only kicked them out but provided a list of all their pedo members to the police.
