Are they cutting cost?

On /vt/news/, Twitch is clearly on a “must squeeze revenue” mode and trying their hardest to find anything to make a buck.
This time it’s Korea, a place they pay a charge for the bytes they send (along with the customers already paying for the bytes they receive)

I wonder if that will impact the heavy hitting KR vtubers and whether or not they’ll move to YouTube.
I say it’s the unironic beginning of the end for Twitch

>terminate support for several browsers
>force everyone on the 50-50 cut, including people that were already on the special 70-30
>force 720p max res in korea
>might do the same for other regions
Twitch it's gonna shutdown in 2023 at this rate, your twitch only chuubas better start migrating to Youtube
