Phase succeeded where other small corpos didn't because Fishman played his cards right. There's an identity to Phase that you don't see with other corpos. For other EN corpos the status is mostly just window dressing. Unironically the "sad girl company" helped Phase become one of the biggest corpos in the West. "Sad girl company" sticks in the heads of people and it spreads to other people from there. Spreading the image of having a bunch of mentally ill girls in your corpo only helps boost publicity. It helps that you have Pippa going viral every other week too.
